Liz Martin founded" A Tailored Senior Life" to address a strongly evident gap that she noticed in working in the senior industry for over 25 years. Through extensive experience in the senior world, Liz has learned the ins and outs of the business, while also realizing the gaps that traditional service companies don't address.
Helping others in her community is something Liz learned at an early age, a gift passed down from her mother, Ann. As a child, Liz and her siblings were often sent out to lend a hand wherever it was needed. These experiences fostered her love for serving others, especially seniors. Her grandmother, Martha, instilled in her that anything worth doing is worth doing well, a lesson that continues to guide her today.
Liz's unique approach to working with seniors is tailored to each person's needs all while offering peace of mind for families. She offers a personal touch while making sure her clients get the support needed to live simpler lives in their home. This work comes very naturally for Liz as her roles as a Case Manager, Senior Center Director, and Benefits Counselor have prepared her for this position.
Community involvement is at the heart of who Liz is. Acquired knowledge of the local and regional resources available to seniors has been a benefit of being so involved in Arkadelphia. Putting this love of community and passion for excellence in helping seniors to live "simply at home with just the right support" is truly what Liz is passionate about.
Liz and her husband Bryon, have two children, Bryce and Carly. Two dogs complete their home, as well as a frequent foster dog Liz is also passionate about investing in.
Her education includes a Master of Public Service in Public Management from Cumberland University and a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation and Gerontology Western Kentucky University.
